The contract, valid for one year, marks Kaztec’s first major pipeline collaboration with Shell and demonstrates its growing reputation in the oil and gas industry.

Project Scope and Objectives

The TNP project involves the construction of a 3-inch, 58-kilometre loop line from the Ogale manifold to Bonny Terminal, located in Nigeria’s South-South region. The pipeline is expected to address operational challenges with the existing Trans-Niger Pipeline.

The project, categorized as an emergency by SNEPCo and the National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS), has been divided into three phases. Kaztec will handle the first package of the contract, leveraging its strong track record of delivering high-quality oil and gas projects.

Commitments from Both Parties

Speaking at the signing, Mr. Emeka Offor expressed gratitude for the opportunity and reaffirmed Kaztec’s dedication to surpass expectations.

“We are delighted to join the Shell family and look forward to a productive partnership for years to come,” Offor stated.

Kaztec’s COO, Mr. Ikechukwu Okpala, also promised timely delivery of the project with exceptional quality, calling it a showcase of the “Kaztec Magic.”

Representing SNEPCo, Mr. Toyin Olagunju emphasized the importance of world-class execution and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

“We look forward to the successful completion of this project. Particular attention must be paid to safety and the environment, ensuring a zero-incident execution,” he said.

Kaztec’s selection for this high-profile contract underscores its rising prominence in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector. The company’s consistent delivery of top-tier projects has earned it the trust of leading stakeholders like SNEPCo and NAPIMS, positioning it as a key player in the industry.

The Trans-Niger Pipeline project not only represents a significant milestone for Kaztec but also highlights the potential for Nigerian companies to drive growth and innovation in the oil and gas sector.
